Hey their boys and gals I’m recently on my period and for those of you gals what do you think of tampons? My virgin self can’t bring my self to use a tampon but I hate sitting in my own blood. Though I’ve tried to use a tampon but it hurt. And in general what do you think about periods.
Periods are pretty shitty, and an inconvenience. Pads are annoying, and tampons are fucking scary (in my opinion) but they're necessities (or so I tell myself). Anyways, I'm pretty new when it comes to tampons, but since I've resumed my swimming lessons I realized I need tampons. One thing I learned is if it isn't in far enough, it'll hurt, but if ...... reply
I literally love tampons I started using them at 11 they kinda hurt when I first put them in maybe it was because I was young, but ever since then they’ve been my best friend 3 reply
Pads are just really annoying, tampons are really scary (search about toxic shock syndrom) and both of them are really wasteful (your great great grandmother pads or tampons are still on this earh in landfill). I really recomend you trying out menstrual cups, they are amazing. You will have to get used to the correct way of putting it in so they wo...... reply

lol I'm also uncomfortable to use tampons, I wouldn't mind trying them but my mom is kinda a prude on buying me stuff like that, when she buys pads she just leaves it on my bed, she never even had the birds and the bees talk with me lol. My stepdad, well I find it uncomfortable to ask him but, I would like to try tampons though. reply
I love seeing the environmentalists here. I switched to cloths pads that are much softer and more absorbent than the plastic ones and when I'm home I just toss them in the washing machine and presto they are clean and ready to go again. After reading about the diva cup though, I think I might try it, I have always been too nervous to try a tampon b...... reply
I used pads when I first got my period and hated them as they felt like diapers. As I got older into my later teens I used Tampons as they were more comfortable for me and easier to deal with. However, I really stopped wanting to waste money on tampons as I have an irregular period and it has always been heavy so I go through a lot. In the past cou...... reply
For me, tampons only become uncomfortable if my flow isn't heavy enough. Try only using them during your heaviest flow days and start off with smaller ones and a panty liner. reply
