Hey their boys and gals I’m recently on my period and for those of you gals what do you think of tampons? My virgin self can’t bring my self to use a tampon but I hate sitting in my own blood. Though I’ve tried to use a tampon but it hurt. And in general what do you think about periods.
both work really. i think the tampons should work for you. i actually use pads more but i use tampons occasionally. nothing wrong with them. it might need some getting used to but it's fine. i hate my period lmaooo- but guess i gotta deal with it so reply
well I've never used tampons but I would like to share my horror experience with my first period.

To answer about tampons: it usually hurts in the beginning. Once you get your vaginal opening used to the shape and size, it gets better over time. My first time was PAINFUL as well and I thought to never use them again but after trying and trying, it's all good now. Be sure to start with the smallest size available then work your way up.

I literally love tampons I started using them at 11 they kinda hurt when I first put them in maybe it was because I was young, but ever since then they’ve been my best friend 3 reply
lol I'm also uncomfortable to use tampons, I wouldn't mind trying them but my mom is kinda a prude on buying me stuff like that, when she buys pads she just leaves it on my bed, she never even had the birds and the bees talk with me lol. So far I've only ever used pads. Tampons are uncomfortable for a lot of people, only work when you've got a heavy flow and can get dangerous if the string breaks or you don't take it out within a certain amount of time. I don't get how cups work but they sound terrible. reply
I use tampons and occasionally panty liners when sleeping. I totally understand the feeling of not wanting to shove things up there (hell I'm gay lol) but everything you can be worried about had actually never happened to me and rarely happens to anyone. And even though I am not a virgin, it was very uncomfortable the first time I used it to the point that I decided to never use it again.
