"Seek first to understand, then to be understood" is first and foremost for me. I also make it a principle to be respectful to all, since it says more about me than it does the other person if they're being rude or hurtful.

I do what's best for me and doesn't hurt other people. I like to keep it simple and relaxed. Try just to ignore most things and understand other people circumstances or just let them be without giving it much thought. Just simple reply
to never express how you truly feel or think. if you lie then you will be successful. (and then for other people) always speak up, a quiet mouth gets fed nasty foods. reply
