Having Friends

I dropped a spoon once. I heard it hit the tile floor. I looked down in the direction the the clinking sound indicated, but there was no spoon to be found. It couldn't have be under the counters as there is no room for it to hide. Where the hell did it go? That spoon is missing to this day.
