I more or less accepted it when I was 13 when I met people who were ok with it. And I already added this to another question so heres my coming out: I did it while my mom and I were bashing my math teacher(he was kind of a jerk)and calling him things including "gay" and I was all "you know me and him r the same kind, right?" She took it like a she ......   3 reply

I did it while my mom and I were bashing my math teacher(he was kind of a jerk)and calling him things including "gay" and I was all "you know me and him r the same kind, right?" She took it like a she knew and said that it's cool as long as I wasn't a bad person. So like all of this happened during church (I shit you not) it was the part of the hom......   reply

I just told my Mum that I confessed to a friend of mine and she just said "Oh that's is why she's not visiting anymore.". My friend usually visits me every week but it was kinda awkward after I confessed and that's why she didn't come over. So yes, I asked her (my mum) why she's so calm and she just started laughing. "We already knew that you're n......   reply

My cousin actually introduced me to the LGBTQ community and that's when I knew I was for sure pansexual but mostly leaned towards liking feminine people. And my family knew I was pansexual but didn't know I had a girlfriend until I told them one day. There reaction was shocked because first of all I barely talked to anyone in the first place and si......   2 reply

I’m a female Pansexual who found manga through anime, bless Junjou Romantica Although some of the stories are so heartwarming, I learnt very early on that it’s far from realistic. I find it quite offensive and annoying at times with how they portray LGBTQ+ in BL, with the heavy “uke” and “seme” and with most stories having characters sa......   2 reply

I'm a trans dude, pan I quite like BL, like every other genre it has its pros and cons. I do wish it didn't fall into stereotypes so much but honestly, the media does it better than any other source of gay fiction outside of video games for me. I always found it odd when people complained about yaoi being porn...when that's kinda the point of ya......   reply

I love yaoi but like everything in life there's pros and cons. First of all, I don't like that many authors make their characters feel guilty about being gay or bi. Is like they think its wrong writing about same sex love, when it should be the opposite. I feel like they use stereotypes way too much. Many mangas, make lgbtq2+ people be promiscuous,......   1 reply

cis woman, pansexual, love BL and queer graphic media in general, i like that there is more representation, i think it helps to fight some prejudices while reinforce others, still BL is often more endearing to me than heterosexual romance, of course there are many cringe worthy titles, and ridiculous tropes like glorified rape and self lubricating ......   reply
