You don't know shit about the gay world from reading yaoi.   3 reply

Well, I tend to meet them regularly so not anything special, But I asked my sister this question so here's her answer: "It's normal, I don't think anything special of it. I do think that person reads too much manga though, cause they obviously think that manga is a correct portrayal of the gay world. Crush their dream, cause it's not. Feel embarra......   reply

I accepted myself at around 7th grade, before that j hated nyself for being this way. I had never seen or experienced any phobes but i had heavy internalized phobia. Then i looked to the internet as an escape but found that i wasnt the only one with this "problem". Pretty soon i realised that it really wasnt a bad thing.   2 reply

To me, it was simple... I think I'm bi or maybe pan -don't know, don't care :D- but I realized around 15, 16 y/o, perhaps earlier. But it wasn't a surprise or a shock, it was just like something natural, like I always knew it, just it didn't get my atention before (⌒▽⌒)   3 reply

I found out I was Bisexual! That was because I am an unconfident little shit and kept comparing myself to other girls. But I stopped comparing and start admiring, I began to realise I would date and love a girl or a guy so that's how I happened! ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭   2 reply

I was reading this part: http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/junketsu_drop/an/junketsu-drop-chapter-2.html/14/

The character was nonchalant about it so I wonder how everyone else are.

Personally, I found out about it when I had this crush on a classmate who's cute and handsome. This was when I was in Kindergarten (6yrs old)... It didn't freak me out but rather I thought it was something normal. Like, I thought everyone else knew about it just like how everyone just know that a girl likes a boy or something like that. I thought that way until I was 10 yrs old when my classmates teased me for being "too girly and weak". That's also when I realized everyone makes fun of and hates gay people.

P.S. I still have a crush on him though even now. We've been classmates and/or schoolmates through grade school, highschool, and college, seriously. xD

Another pansexual here (I'm also a transman but that's neither here nor there). For one thing, the "gay world" isn't really a thing? There's LGBT+ culture, yeah, but us queer folk don't live in some separate dimension. Also, straight/cis people will never know more about queer culture than actual queer people. The experience of being queer is more ......   reply

lol that's cute. I know others have also said this, but reading BL doesn't give one much of any insight in to the real lives of gay men. Even though I enjoy it, series which actually contain realistic depictions or any actual glimpse in to the gay community are few and far between. 90% of fujoshi I've met or spoken to have had fairly murky understa......   reply

first off, if you're pan, then why do you think you... don't know about how it is to be lgbt? unless you're basing this "knowledge" off bl? because let's be real here, absolutely none of the stuff on this site accurately reflects mlm relationships. a straight who reads bl doesn't "know more" about the inner workings of the community just because th......   3 reply

Like, I'm confused about this question. Are there people out there that are all like "See, gay people, I hate 'em. Unless it's for porn. If it's for porn, for my consumption, you know, yaois and yuris and what have you, then its okay, but, if they're just out there adopting dogs, ugh, god, can't stand it." Who is this person and how have they lived......   4 reply
