I dont know my sexuality, but I just want to share a story since I'm bored. Well, in 6th grade I became best friends with a girl late into the school year where it was nearing summer break. She was literally the first friend I've made on forever and she was very easy to talk to because of her personality and we got to know each other better over th......   reply

Tricky question. I'm lesbian and I feel awkward when reading about straight couples (I usually identify with the girl but the girl likes a boy and then I lose the connection with the character because of that and feel uncomfortable). So I started reading BL because of that without realizing it (damn I came out last year after more than one decade r......   2 reply

As a bisexual woman I feel okay about it(since I am a fujoshi). Sometimes it is taken too far and just seem so unrealistic and unenjoyable. There is many genres in yaoi, such as supernatural and I feel fine about that. I don't think bl represents "irl gay love", but just fiction about a boy loving another boy. Honestly, some bl can be like real lif......   reply

As a gay person myself, when I was first discovered BL, I was very happy. I thought I could relate the characters, and that it was great representation. But, as I grew older, I realized that most(not all) depicted unhealthy relationships, and essentially stereotyped gay people(to some extent). Like the whole "uke" and "seme" thing. We don't really ......   1 reply

Hi guys,

Doing a general tally for a paper. Anyone who's LGBT on here, can you give me a brief description of your relationship with BL. How do you feel about it? Do you think it helps/hurt/effects your identity in any way?

Thanks in advance!

During my childhood, I didn't pay attention to anything that involved love and stuff lol. My group of friends were a bunch of nerds and we talked about sonic, super smash bros, mario, etc. and were good at school so we didn't think about those things. (we also weren't the most attractive so we were single no matter what lol). A guy in 3rd (i think)......   2 reply

Hey!! VERY VERY LOOOONG STORYTIME GUYS I'M SORRY!!! congrats if you read all this!!!(๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ So... I'm not gay but bi (technically i'm pansexual but saying bi is quicker lol) and I... always knew about that. It was never something that left a big impression on me - this struggle to know whether I was a lesbian because I liked girls......   2 reply

I'm Ace and I know that I can live life without having to worry too much about the problems other LGBTQ+ people have to face (Unless if I date a girl again), but I'm still queer and I do face some things that Het/Cis people don't face. I started realizing I wasn't straight around 6th grade. My friends all started talking about the boys in our class......   2 reply

When I was 5, I started suspecting I was probably gay when I found the Spider Queen from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy movie, hot. I fully realized I was gay when I saw Shego from Kim Possible, and proceeded to read fanfics, since I had a high reading level for my age and I wasn't a stranger to things like sex, since I researched things I ......   reply

When I was 5 I liked one girl from my kindergarten and it felt natural. When I started school, around 7 I liked a guy and that felt natural too. And ever since then I would like people regardless of gender. I never identified myself as a bisexual so I guess I'm a pansexual because I first like a person and only after that, I can have sex with them.......   reply
