Have An Unpopular Opinion

So I had adviced an artist to make their lineart thicker to make it more good and appropriate for their cutesy artstyle and concept but they took it as negative criticism.... I'm sorry miss but uhhh... Am I not allowed to have an opinion and suggest an advice to improve a person's talent? And it's not like I'm forcing you either, you can take it or not but If you can't accept and think negatively of someone's help because it shatters your pride and ego then I'd just leave you alone and wish you the best.
