I'll smoke and then do an activity that'll take all my attention while I'm high. I'll do a 3d puzzle (the kind that comes with like 4 pages of instructions and 200 steps) or play a video game or watch a random movie I've never seen. reply
I've tried some mindfulness exercises which are okay, but what works best for me is to lie down and close my eyes (or get outside and stare into nature) and narrate my favorite books or movies scene by scene in my head, in as much detail as possible. Great distraction. I end up making my own stories sometimes too. reply
I just let things happen. And by drinking yes but not alcohol but coffee and that's my only guilty pleasure because I take coffee in an unhealthy amount in a day that I don't know why I haven't experienced palpitation yet but that aside I just let things happen like flip a coin and let it be head or tail cause no matter what I think or do I can't r...... reply
I drink a lot of mate, a while back i started adding a mix of herbs known for acting as nerve sedatives, is tasteless and it rlly does calm you tf down

crossing my arms and having the pointer finger of whichever hand is on top point and touch beneath my chin. like, between chin and throat, bottom of the jaw. face masks help sometimes, since people are less inclined to talk to you and it hides the bottom half of your face. fresh air and sitting on the floor too can help bring you back to earth and ...... reply
