well yaoi can be something to lighten up ur day cause why not its sometimes wholesome or tragic. To me i discovered yaoi since i was 9 yrs old and im still 13 and it made me realized that some manga just sucks cause u know when u miss something and after a couple of chapters later it turn it something big or something.

To be honest, most things have there problems. For example, I've come to dislike Shoujo due to the female lead often being weak and generic. And the guys all fawn over her for no real good reason. A lot of people read yaoi/shounen-ai just because of the art style. Fetishizing gay/bisexual men irl is when it's too much, but simply reading is not the same. I agree that 10/11/12 year olds should not be reading this stuff, and NO ONE should fantasize shit like killing stalking.
