I used to watch mha and I liked the initial concept, but I don't think it was executed correctly. idk but I feel like it's too slow paced and that, as the main character (mc), Deku should be more interesting with like a backstory and maybe more realistic in terms of dreaming to be a hero when quirkless. For the past three years, I have this tendencies where I would download anime, watched few episodes and I got bored. But usually the reason is because it either got too draggy, too predictable, or too complex to understand. reply
I didn't quit watching it expecting it to be good. To be honest, I've always thought it's a bit overhyped (still do). The characters didn't really grab me (I find them kinda boring), and Bakugo really got on my nerves with all his insecurity around Deku (seems like he's got a big inferiority complex). for MHA i dropped it mainly bcus of the story itself and its plots, i love the characters and i wish several of them have their own screentimes with Midoriya and scenes for them to shine (heros and villains and miscellaneous alike)
