I casually tell people whom I befriended about yaoi and my love for it.
They do become cool with it if they aren't initially.
And in class, I would read it too infront of my guy friend.
He would give me weird looks and then shake his head, all of which I'd laughingly shrug off.

Yeah my boyfriend knows, he's fine with it. He knows I'm an idiot. I believe he look it up on Wikipedia one time after I mentioned it and well I made him promise to never actually search one up and read one since if you don't know what you're looking for you can come across some fucked up stuff.
