Thoughts About Rape In Fiction

I don’t understand why people say “your disgusting to think rape is ok in fiction” to people who read yaoi, hentai and other.
Because I feel really hurt when people say I am disgusting and revolting because of what I read

I read those things but that doesn’t mean I wish for them to come true in real life
If I fantasize about 2 characters doing it, it doesn’t mean I want to see in real life
I am not thinking about 2 ACTUAL PEOPLE WHO ARE LIVING IN THIS EARTH doing each other

I feel like the word ‘rape’ is being misused in rape fantasies
Personally I think of it as someone controlling me, but that is my opinion
For people who say that people who fantasize about rape and think rape is ok in fiction are disgusting and gross, fair enough maybe you don’t know to much but have you ever considered other people’s feelings ?? Do you know that there are people who don’t fantasize about rape but still read this media
You might say “oh but since you think that you must be one of those disgusting people”
To that I say no, I am not disgusting for reading it, to me it seems you are more belittling us more than trying to make a point.

The thing is rape in yaoi hentai is different in irl, I don’t know how to explain this well but when you see yaoi starting with uke being sexually harassed by seme and it continues on like that for a few chapters, you might see the comment section saying how seme is bad and a jerk and then it changes becaus the character becomes more nicer toward uke.
That would be different if it had no story, there litterelly was no plot for the sexy parts.
The comment section would be way different, it wouldn’t be talking about the characters but solely on segs

Which means the rape on the fiction is MEANT TO BE THERE, fiction exsist for a reason, do you know why horror exsist even though we are scared of it ??? It really doesn’t make sense because fiction and reality are 2 worlds apart, the person responsible is the viewer, they are the ones who decide what to do with what they have read.

“Oh but this person watches this and became a terrible person” well again, that person is responsible for there actions

Just because I read about segs stuff and rape in fiction doesn’t mean I about bound to want it to happen to me irl, just because you read sci-di doesn’t mean you will become a scientist and travel through time and space.

In summary, rape on real life is bad and disgusting, fantasizing about rape or being controlled is ok I think you can fantasize about anything, I also fantasize sometimes about it fantasizing it to me is ok as long as it is not putting you into physical harm or harm in reality.
Rape in fiction is ok, my opinion on this one is based off of what I read in the past. I think it’s ok becaus 1-it’s fiction, 2- the 2 characters are meant to be like that, the top and bottom are meant to have a sexual relationship/contact with each other but if it is another character than it’s a no go because at this point in the novel Uke already likes seme
And 3- rape in fiction meant to be in it, rape again between the 2 main is what is meant to happen and even if it is not it’s there for a reason
An example “the Beast must be tamed” had the Uke being raped by these other character that is not seme, i hates those characters and I felt so for the uke because he had to go through this, that is what I meant

If you disagree with all that I said then I can say nothing more, I just want to tell you this t inform you more, and to add not once have I said “disgusting or “stupid to the people who disagree with me because I don’t want to be mean about it.
