I think some of you are a bit too harsh on OP. Maybe he/she lives in a country where the dominating population is just one race so he/she wants to meet new ones in order to broaden his/her horizons? Genetically: there are several linkages in history of course not to mention ramapethicus and the older homosapiens. dear op, i can't even begin on how weird this statement is. Are Asian people a rarity in your place that talking to one is sort of a thing you have on a bucket list of things you want to do before you turn twenty or something? If they are, you should know that an Asian as any other people with different ethnicity are just regular human being with different genetic make up, history, cultural and economic background. So yeah, maybe phrase your statement better. Besides Asia is a big continent, which Asian people of which part of Asia are you referring to?
