IF YOU LOVE PLOT TWISTS I RECCOMMENT THE POPPY WAR BY R.F. KUANG ITS SO GOOD ITS LITERALLY MY FAVORITE BOOK EVER. if you are looking for sad, it has it. if you are looking for trauma, it has LOADS, and some of the best most unexpected plot twists I've ever read. 1 reply

No books will wreck you as much as The Poppy war Trilogy +the drowning faith novel by R.F. Kuang. Before you ask, its not a romance in the slightest, it has like a tiny dust of romance plus no smut. Its very war heavy, betrayals, morally grey characters, etc but its sooooo goooodddd. Check the tw's before u read it tho! reply

S. A. Chakraborty - City of Brass!! The worldbuilding is fantastic with lots of interesting characters. It has a kind of complicated plot so you have to focus on what information is given to understand the story along the way, but overall it's really good, I loved it so much

recently finished mysterious skin and i think it was really good, fair warning though there are a LOT of trigger warnings to keep in mind and it isn’t a happy story at all.
also, someone linked it above but you can find practically any book on zlibrary, highly recommend. 1 reply
