Reading Pet Peeves
I was back on ao3 reading fanfiction and I fear I've gotten so picky with my fanfiction now cause I got spoiled with good ones and now I'll drop most fics because it just ain't "it"
Like the overly superficial description of the characters
("his baby blue eyes so besutiful were the doorway to another world and his small waist so grabable" "his huge and tall frame was perfect for holding him")
or when they are just too overly OOC that I can't recognize them anymore and just cringe of 2nd Hand embarrassement *sigh*
I WANNA GO BACK TO SIMPLER TIMES AND ENJOY FICS LIKE NORMAL AAAH
Anyway do you guys have reading pet peeves and since this is a manga site and not fanfiction site please feel free to include them, I just wanted to get this off my chest ☠
Whenever the text is in one big block of words, so you just see a wall of text. It makes it so hard to read, and I get overwhelmed just by looking at it（/TДT)/ 1 reply
Bad grammar always throws me off. I know I shouldnt judge people for their lack of proper grammar in such a shitty language but it just ruins the fic for me.
And omg characters being too OOC just ughhhhh like I wanted to read a good characterization of my favourite characters but whole time I'll be like
"No way they would say/do that", and fics w...... reply
I also have a pet peeve with OOC esp if it’s a character I like and the fic just butcher them horribly. First person povs are also a no for me. I was reading a smut fic yesterday and it was in first person (of one of the characters), I had to exit it outta there idk how reader x character readers do it but it’s a huge no for me. 2 reply
Lord, I have sooooooooo many (I think I have a problem), but the repetitive dialogue/explanation whatever-you-call it. Like the author will once say something like "His psychotic tendencies make him lash out and people fear him, but I understand him so I know how to bypass that and talk to him in ways others can't, so that makes me 'special' and 'd...... reply
