Reading. The majority of live-action BLs solely focus on romance + slice of life stories because it's the cheapest to adapt (lack of special effects, etc). Reading definitely. It's hard to find a good live action, let alone a bl live action. There are much more options to reading honestly cause you get a lot of genres, and also different styles such as comics and novels. Def reading.   reply

probably reading. i always get 3rd degree cringe whenever i watched some dramas (not just bl but almost all of the latest movies) idk why tho, i guess for me some actors in this generation don't know how to act or their script is just rlly cringe.   1 reply

With live action you got the extra layer of having acting. I find most Asian BL kinda just overact or they get awkward/look uncomfortable with stuff like kissing. Also as the others said, I like reading at my own pace and can consume a lot of BL way faster by reading.   reply
