anyone’s mom addicted to bl dramas? my mom started watching a few months ago- from fili bl to k-bl to thai bl. when we went out to eat to celebrate her birthday, she pulled out her phone and started watching a thai bl on the way to the restaurant. while we waited for the food, she was still watching. when we got home, she did the same. she even did this on my uncle’s birthday and during our outing.

she works from midnight till dawn, but once she’s done, she just continues watching bl instead of getting any sleep in the morning.

I'm asking this because, I'm probably not mature enough to understand things like this but lets say MC had a crush on a older person from when they were younger and the love interest raised them and such and their not blood related so when they come to age or even in highschool they get to pursue the love interest.

sorry if its confusing- but I feel like I'm in a moral battle because things like this are wrong right? I read stories like this before but tend to avoid them but now that I'm translating one I just have a bunch of question marks like "is this really okay?" or "don't they seen them as a parental figure tho?" stories like these leave me wondering if this kind of thing is okay.

The plot goes like this -
Uke is managing an actor who has a "sponsor" and yet seems to secretly having an affair with another guy. The company finds out and tells the uke to spy on that actor and find out about the guy he's secretly meeting before the paparazzi or his sponsor finds out, cause if the actor loses the sponsor's soft spot, the entire company would feel the wrath. So despite not wanting to do it, the uke finds out from the actor's phone (after checking his texts from the phone during his absence) and follows the actor to a hotel where he's supposed to meet the guy he's having an affair with. Turns out it's actually another celebrity and the manager's ex-boyfriend whom he dated during his school years. The uke's father was financially irresponsible (gambling or something) and threw his debt on uke who had to drop out of school to work. He even broke up with the boyfriend (currently a celebrity) who he thought he had gotten over but realises he actually he still loves him.
