First Feeling Reading Yaoi

i want to educate some people. maybe some meant no harm and just didnt know about this, so heres me pointing out some offensive and false stereotypes:

• "All bisexuals like threesomes." Why would you think that? We dont need both genders when we are having sex in order to 'satiate' us. The "sex" in bisexuality is wrongly overemphasized.

• "Bisexuals are promiscuous sluts" There are about as many bisexual sluts as there are of other sexual orientations. Just because we find more than one gender attractive, doesn't mean we go around slutting away. We don't have a higher libido just by being bisexual.

• "We are polyamorous" We arent attracted to absolutely everyone around us. Its normal for us to be monogamous. Its normal for us to have just one crush.

• "You are just confused. You are probably gay or straight" Maybe. Maybe some of us are just questioning. But thats not the case for everyone. We arent experimenting. Its a legitimate sexual orientation and i don't understand why people think otherwise. What is so hard to believe? There is no wall between heterosexuality and homosexuality.

• "There is twice the chance that you will cheat." no. We are still the same person with or without our sexuality. Our sexuality doesn't define our character.

• "Bisexuals are trying to be cooler" why the hell would anyone think that? An awkward person can be bisexual too, like myself.

• "Offhanded lesbian/gay" now thats just derogatory. Shut the fuck up

In conclusion
Bisexuals aren't inherently indecisive, into polygamy, focused on sex, or more likelier to cheat. We aren't 'unfulfilled' if we don't have a partner from each gender. And bisexuals can have 'leans'; one can be a little more attracted to men, but still be into women to a notable degree. or vice versa. We are still bi.
