Periods

That's not an overreaction. You mother is neglecting your basic need for menstrual products???? Letting you free bleed all over the place is going to cause more problems to get rid of the stains, not to mention very embarrassing for you. This seems like some kind of abuse to me. Skipping a month is okay....but if you end up like me and skip three months or more (one time it was a full 12 months) at a time and then have one continuous period for 4 weeks straight...you might want to check with a doctor. But even then if you're underage and nothing else is wrong with you they will probably leave it alone or put you on oral bi......   reply

did you just start? if so yea, it gonna be really unbalanced. otherwise if it just randomly disappeared for a month, its probably cause you were too stressed that month which is the main factor. otherwise, if its back to normal, it should be fine, but you can always ask your doctor   reply

idk i think it's normal for periods to be unstable while you're a teen. dont take my words as medical advice tho- just google it.   1 reply

i’ve had irregular period too and i also had severe period cramps but i went to gynecologist half a year ago and now my period comes pretty regularly and period pains happens only once in a while and not so severe like before . i heard from gynecologist that period problems are quite common in teenage girls. so i recommend you to visit gynecolog......   reply

Before I transitioned, I once also had a very irregular cycle. This would mostly occur because I would either be very stressed or I had a big change in diet, I was also very low in iron. tbh, when i had my depressive phases (only a few), my period would skip and it would be gone for 1-2 months. My period is extremely normal other wise without any birth controls and im not sexually active at all too so its not pregnancy. I am always under so much stress being the oldest out of 6 and I always have problems with this. Totally normal. Being under stress during a period is not the best time to be stressed.   reply
