I would never introduce them to it, but I would be open about it. I would openly read them, and if their interested in the things I like, I'll give them Shounen ai, but if they don't then they can do whatever.   reply

Hmm, I think its better if they find on their own. But, if I have to introduce it. I would rather introduce something light. Like a good love story, that gives you the feels. I mean first and foremost what it will do is that it will bring about awareness about lgbt community, if the kids doesn't know about it already. But, if they have questions o......   reply

Being honest, I think my kids would find it by themselves. I would introduce them to the things I enjoyed when I was younger, meaning horror and sports manga/anime and others. If they liked it, they'd be free to explore the fandom and it would be possible that they'd stumble upon some yaoi or yuri. It's their taste if they like it, and they can re......   reply

If my nephew showed an interest when he was much older, I'd allow him to check out my books but I wouldn't introduce it. I mean, I worry about him going through my books and he can't read yet. Fortunately, most of my yaoi is "fade to black" or vague sex scenes. Sekaiichi hatsukoi, however...   2 reply

I have 3 kids and the oldest one is now 14. She like more romance and it doesn't matter if it's a hetero or a homo love. But if they do more then just holding hands or kissing, she screems and find it disgusting (^.^)" she is still sooo pure. But i show her little by little some of my bl-manga (^.^). Her friends read yaoi (which they can borrow fr......   reply

I'm not planning to have any kids but the children I babysit all knew I was reading that kind of stuff :9 (I swear I didn't show them tho, it just poped up in the conversation) Also I'll definitely introduce (as in, tell them it exists, then advise them if they ask for more) my sis's children (when she has some) to yaoi and yuri (if she doesn't do ......   reply

I would introduce them to anime and manga..and if they came across any yaoi or yuri I would support them liking it (if they even told me). I got introduced to yaoi at around age 12 so they would have to be 12 or older. If there not I would just tell them it's something you can read later on.   1 reply

Well, there are things out kids need to discover by themselves xD I mean, Yaoi, as genre, is mostly sex-based. Yeah, has huge and really good doses of romance and also includes other genres that totally amaze me, but also has huge doses of porn. Not talking about shounenai, which is the indicated type if you wanna introduce someone in the hard thi......   1 reply
