do they force their values onto you or expect you to be good at a certain thing? (or do they have high expectations of you as you grow older?) ex: have a high education, good grades, be a lawyer or doctor, good mental health, good conversing skills, be a role model to your younger siblings, etc. *feel free to use this as a safe space to express your feelings and emotions*

Yes, and luckily I'm able to live it up. And since I'm able to get myself a good education with high grades my parents thankfully let me choose my own career. But, that's the problem I don't know what I want to be or do in the near future, I'll just go with the flow I guess. reply
My family wants me to become a lawyer or a politician, I'm guessing that I probably will. But I think they got really serious when i became 9, I had to bathe myself and brush my teeth for myself and even make my OWN bed (don't judge me). With a lot of asian parents, it's doctor, engineer(if you're lucky) or lawyer but nahh my dad has the options of a primary school teacher, high school math teacher or uni prof like has the memo of I hate being around people not gone through??? I've lived with you my whole life what do you not get reply
