do they force their values onto you or expect you to be good at a certain thing? My family wants me to become a lawyer or a politician, I'm guessing that I probably will. But I think they got really serious when i became 9, I had to bathe myself and brush my teeth for myself and even make my OWN bed (don't judge me).
