i watched yuri on ice when it was airing and i remember not really liking it. i don’t hate it, just felt bored with it but still finished. i like the ending though. i’ve been thinking of rewatching it to try and give it another shot if i’ll actually like it reply
i feel like the only people who hate it are homophobes, and i mean truly hate it, people who just aren't into it are another story but yeah, if you go out of your way to say you don't like yuri on ice because it's gay, you're a homphobic piece of shit

It's literally queerbaiting as its worst, making things just "up to interpretation" enough to let other viewers gaslight lgbt+ people over whether they're into each other or not. They knew exactly what they were doing when they made it like that, too. Quite frankly, it's disgusting. reply
I watched it years ago because my bff recommended it to me. I watched it all the way through but ended up not really enjoying it. I found Yuuri and Victor quite boring compared to the less important/background characters. Like, if there was a spinoff focused on one of the other skaters, I would find that more entertaining.
