Why are 95% of Bl fans gross while most of the Gl fans are somewhat normal. Like wtf? Do you know how many BL fans I’ve seen fetishizing gay men. Shipping random boys you don’t know, shipping random boys you do know, wishing to be a guy etc. While on the other hand I’ve never heard any of this stuff from Gl fans. I think I finally understand why fujoshi, the name for a female BL fan, means rotten girl in Japanese. Maybe it’s because there aren’t as many GL fans as there are BL fans. Or maybe it has to do with the way that the BL genre tries to appeal to fans as opposed to the GL genre. What do you guys think? (And before some of y’all angry hoes wanna disagree with me and say most BL fans aren’t like that literally just look at the questions being asked by BL fans and see if you can change my mind)
I am a fan of reading BL, but the number of rape fantasies, toxic relationships, etc ain't it for me. I really enjoy the healthy, fluff ones. I read a couple of GL, not a lot though reply
It'd be a little insulting to actually assume most of the BL fanbase as gross knowing that some of us are matured and we educate those who go too overboard. A small credit would be nice lolol

I enjoy reading both BL and GL but I like reading it for the plot not just the segs. But I dont blame you gurl some people need to stop saying "I wish I was a boy" and shit like that. Just stay away from the people that fetishize gay relationships cuz they a whole different breed chile- reply
The only BL fans that are gross are the only one that fetishize gay men. Thank god that I have fujoshis friends that respect me as a person and realize that my struggle as a gay man is not going to match what they see in yaoi, but don't blame the genre sis blame the author and disrespectful fans.

There's lots of things I can say to this, but I'll just say this. Yes, some girls out there fetishize BL and transfer what they read into real life; which is wrong.
