Ok so I’ve been reading a lot of villainess manga and the one trope that they always have is when the heroine steals the villainess’s fiancé (usually the crown prince). So I’ve been wondering, are there any comics, games, or shows where the MC actually steals the rival character’s fiancé or is that just a villainess manga thing? The only one I can think of is “Heirs”. Please name some if you know any.
Does V’s route from Mystic Messenger count? You basically steal him away from his fiancé, Rika. If not, I always imagined this trope came from 20th century classic shoujo with the villainess with curls etc. I barely see that many otome that are set like this.
