i'm not going to specify what i'm talking abt to avoid potential harassment and doxxing of users. if you know what i'm talking abt, hello :) anyway, this does involve around sensitive topics so pls leave if ur recovering or anxious abt sh and mental illnesses!!




if you're a local on twitter, please tell your mutuals to stop telling MENTALLY MINORS that they should kill themselves and starve themselves to death.

shaming people for having a harmful coping method is not helping them.

condoning the harassment and doxxing of minors is not helping them.

invalidating their mental illness as an "aesthetic" is fucking disgusting.

many of the people on these communities are minors who can not afford therapy/has neglectful and abusive parents. the community is their safe space for them and venting spot. taking this away from them would just make their issues worse honestly.

i don't agree w/ some of the things they do, however, telling suicidal minors that they will be better off dead is fucking horrid and disgusting and you're part of the problem. i do have a personal bias because i did the same thing when i struggled w/ those issues and i'm still in that community. and all i can say the amount of times a local completed invalidated my issues when they were trying to ""help"" me is ridiculous.

if you're going to help people, please give them hotline numbers, how to escape their situation, and support instead of harassment and bullying.

if you know what i'm talking abt, please don't post the new hashtags or any names of users. we already have enough trolls and edgy redditors spam commenting on our posts.

if ur a local and u know what i'm talking abt, please educate yourself and your mutuals. please try to understand us from our point of view and our situation instead of calling us disgusting and sick people <3
