I am not going to say crush, it's more I just thought he was cute and could think of us watching a movie or going to a dessert place and sharing a milkshake or some 50s daydream. Anyways, I messaged him on instagram and said that he looked handsome and that itd be cool to get to know each other. He messaged back SO dry, like thin slice of toast dipped into the dead sea, and then toasted again by sending it to implode in the sun, dry. But I was like, boys are dry texters maybe he's not meaning to, so I kept asking questions, and it ended with me suggesting some series and a book, his last message was "sweet, I'll check them out". So....I'm going to assume he's just not into me as a friend or more and that's fine.
I'm still kind of disappointed, as much as I wasn't incrediably serious I was really excited at the idea of having a partner, I haven't had any interest in anyone for a while so it was exciting to imagine a person I could talk to throughout the night, some one to go on a picnic with or to go to the beach and sneak holding hands.
I don't know, I'm pan and a giant cheesy romantic so maybe people just aren't into those things like I am. Maybe my standards are too low for anyone to think I'm serious about them. I want to be serious about someone.
