In my case, cause I'm bi, it was because my eyes would always go for the most attractive female... body parts(●￣(ｴ)￣●)(￣∇￣") I was so disgusted with myself but got over it. Not because I accepted myself but realized in a way that its normal for some people. But my eyes always wonders to male and female... So I might not be helping
