What would you do if your son/daughter came out to you?
I find it that a fair amount of parents approach situations like this in a negative way and of course I would definetly accept him/her with open arms and demand meeting their partner [if they had one] lol. I think parents should be their child's number one supporter in these situations.
If my child in the future came out to me, I would be proud. It takes courage to come out to someone, i would accept them fully. I would be happy that they feel comfortable enough to come to me and say it, I would hug them. I don't care about sexuality or gender, he or she is my child and I will always be proud of what they will become. reply
