do you you think it's a great representation ? i personally don't think so. i'll take a human example : Call me by your name. masterpiece for sure, but not a good representation: - Fetishism of gay sex - Both are straight but you know just... waiting for the right girl - Minor x Adult. not a good relationship tho.
Yaoi is a lot of fetishising or romanticising unhealthy portrayals of gay relationships (e.g. rape being a way to express your feelings, characters being referred to as 'straight' except for the other character), and as much as it's all 'fiction' it can harmful to the LGBTQ+ community.
