Anime always comes first if they're not a dragon ball z fan and dont know what happened in chapter 188 of the manga they're not a real otaku sensei 1 reply
Probably not unless they were also an "otaku". It's easy for people to have this already pre-formed mental image of an individual that fancies manga/anime. But we're not all alike. So when I feel the time is right, I ease into it. If I never feel that right time... the relationship is probably a dead end (seeing as I don't feel comfortable to compl...... reply
I'm basically only interested into dating eccentric and open-minded people, so if someone can't even handle something as basic and inoffensive as me liking manga and anime they just can't become my life partner haha.
Like-minded people make the best partners, and such hobbies really just are cute quirks more than anything else. My bf feels the sam...... 2 reply

Being an otaku doesnt really show on me and i see it as a personal hobby so im not really thinking about telling him. If he finds out then he will, if he doesnt then he wont reply

My first boyfriend also knew I was an avid yaoi reader, and supported me when I made a BL comic. (I don't remember how/when I told him, I don't really hide these things. I probab...... reply
In an alternative universe where I'm not asexual, it'd be pretty obvious because if they ask about my hobbies...well, I'd have to tell them manga. I may not come out with the yaoi part straight away though. reply
My boyfriend and I were best friends before we started dating, he knew I was into anime/manga since the first time we met (because he also loves it). Later on I told him how much I love BL, he never judged me for it, he's rather supportive and likes it when I do things I enjoy - because I have depression and when I'm alone I tend to feel down and u...... reply
Well, my boyfriend knew about me being an otaku since the start... But I never told him about BL. He is from a very christian family and I was kind of afraid ( ̄∇ ̄"). Anyway, I never told him, we broke up already. My goal is finding someone that will accept even my weird hobby, I want to be completely honest next time!(๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ 2 reply
