am i bad for reading yaoi?
hey guys sometimes i feel guilty reading yaoi stories, i don't fetishize the relationship at all!! i just like reading it because the stories are written so well! I feel like the character development and the art is so much better than straight stories or yuri! I am part of the LGBT community but i am a teen girl so i just feel creepy or guilty about it... I love romance and thrillers i think my fave read so far is killing stalking and that i do not class as a yaoi but a psychological thriller. I have read BJ Alex and i am reading painter of the night too and i enjoy it but am i bad for reading it? If you guys have any good straight mangas to read or yuri i would appreciate it especially yuri but i just feel guilty for reading yaoi ╥﹏╥
for the whole guilty thing, i think that’s a normal thing. I sometimes feel it while reading stuff (no matter the genre), but honestly, if you don’t fetishise it or anything you don’t have to worry.
