Mistaken sexuality?
I talk about my OTPs quite a lot, so I'm not surprised that my mother thinks I'm gay.(￣∇￣") She comes up to be talking about how her new show has a lesbian pair now, and said "You like that their gay, right?". I mean, nothing wrong with being gay, but I just don't feel comfortable knowing my mother really doesn't understand my sexuality!╮(￣▽￣)╭
Anyways, how did you deal with it? This isn't limited to just straights mistakes for gays, but it's for everyone! How did you explain, please tell me.... ( T﹏T )
I was mistaken for ace back in high school for about 18 months by my friends. I didn't learn about this until I was hanging out with one of them and making all sorts of comments about the boys soccer team playing shirts v skins on the next field.
"Oh! So... I guess you're not ace, then?"
"What? No. Why would you even think that?"
