Being single
As I go through the comments and see all the posts about loving being single and such, to those people, don't you get lonely? Yeah, being single has its moments but when you go to share whatever experience it was only to realize there is no one there, just a big black hole, how do you handle that in a healthy manner? (Getting drunk does not count)
Well, I've yet to not be single so I can't really say there's a big empty space in my heart. I also don't have a single non-blood-related human being that I am close with, which also does not bother me at all. I simply live my life with minimal interaction - when not working, I exercise, read books, write poetry, and translate Latin.

I'm one of the very few with a twisted personality. If I feel too lonely, I think of all of the things I would do to a potential partner, and then realize that it's better for said potential partner if I were single. Or I talk to the few friends I have. reply

Being single actually works for me better. Maybe am just a real loner at heart but no matter who I get with, I end up feeling trapped and oppressed in some way. And no am not a selfish person ( in all of my relationships, romantic, am actually the one who gives so much). Well everyone is different...

I have a little group of friends and I share almost everything with them. Sure I won't do anything intimate with them but I can find anyone to.do this anytime. I understand that a lot of don't like one night stands but for me that's the best option without hurting anyone reply
I've dated lot and had a few relationships. Being by myself gave me time to focus on me and the relationship with myself. Now i have too much self love to even care about others. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I do get lonely, but rarely. Only when I see or read about a healthy and inspiring relationship that makes me wish I also have. But I've never felt jealous or pressured to get in a relationship just because people around me are getting married and stuff. I'm just not really rushing things because am also still not confident about myself. Not sure i...... reply
I don't know if maybe I'm just too simple minded, but I've never really worried about dating. If I like someone I just say it 'Cause I think it's unfair to the other part when you don't tell the person how you feel and it's troblesome for myself. If I get rejected, I don't really mind.
