Stop falling in love
Is there a way to stop oneself from falling in love? I'm too traumatised but I can't help falling for someone again and again. And I'm never good enough for them. Worse, it takes me such a short time to fall in love. At the very least anyine knows how to be on guard to prevent myself from falling in such a short time????
Just don't date. You can fall for anyone as much as you want, but, personally, I prefer being alone due to self-defence. (The same thing has happened to me. (Being traumatised, I mean.)
On the other hand we are all going to perish and hopefully soon, so just do whatever feels right, whatever you want. 1 reply
I know how you feel. I can’t say there’s a way to stop falling for them with such a short time but, use some distance. I’ve liked a lot of guys and every time I confessed I wasn’t good enough or they just didn’t like me because of my size, I fall more to the big side. I don't know if my advice would help you since I have the opposite problem, but I often tell myself I'm not interested in a guy when I meet him, but still letting him a chance if he asks for it. I always end up backing off after dating once or twice because not being interested makes me find a whole lot of things I don't like in the guy.

I know the pain your talking about, its such a beautiful rose, but so thorny. The more u reach the more it hurts, but the fragrance is to tempting to pass..
Tbh i dout you can stop falling in love, but u can guard your hearth from pain just need to keep looking for a way.

Hello, I don't know how old you are but I think that you're approximately my age (19-ish) so first advice : don't lose hope. You prabably will get disappointed again in love (it's not reassuring at all, I'm sorry I'm just too honest) because that's love : it hurts. But in the end, when you find the one it's gonna be worth it.
