I was 11 when I discovered yaoi and started reading it. Looking back, I think that's way too young. I'm now 17 - almost 18. A while ago I came across some manga I had read when I was younger. They were all awful... lowkey homophobic, included rape and made it seem romantic. Reading those "rape = love" stories younger really fucked me up for a while...... 1 reply
