I love tattoo as an expression of art and I really want to get one, but since I'm japanese descendant my parents don't agree with it. They told me that if I go to Japan to travel I won't be well accepted too. Have you ever experienced some kind of prejudment because of tattoos? How is it seen in your country?
From what I've read and been told by friends that have visited Japan is that some places like local bathhouses often refuse to serve customers with tattoos because in some towns and cities it's still associated with criminals. I think if you are just visiting bigger cities it probably wouldn't be an issue. As for your parents it's good to respect t...... 2 reply
