I've seen people say they loved Bl and Yaoi but what was the reason you got addicted and if it wasn't for that would you probs never read it again or..?
I was K-pop fan back then. I accidentally stumbled on a Yoonmin fanfiction. Got intrigued and read more. Became a shipper. Left the fandom to become a weeb. Same things happened.
