What would you do if your son/daughter came out to you?
I find it that a fair amount of parents approach situations like this in a negative way and of course I would definetly accept him/her with open arms and demand meeting their partner [if they had one] lol. I think parents should be their child's number one supporter in these situations.
i’d do what my mum’s done for me, she’s always made a point to be like "oh yeah, i don’t really care if you’re lesbian, bisexual or want to identify as a male as long as you’re happy". If i have a kid, i want them to come home and be comfortable enough with me to be like "yo mum, i just got myself a fine ass girlfriend/boyfriend" and no...... reply
