Have you ever failed your younger self?
What is something that you expected out of adulthood when you were young and as you got older, you realize it's impossible?
For me, my family was very strict against desserts and junk food when I was growing up. My only childhood goal was to have money and a car so I would be able to buy my own junk food and sweets whenever I want. As an adult now with both of those things, I cry at the thought of calories in junk food and I can't eat sweets without feeling like my teeth will fall out.
Hmm, I thought my wishes were pretty simple. I've always liked watching TV, listening to music, reading novels and comics, so from a very young age, I was a dreamer. I even turned my life dream into an actual novel.
I wanted to be married and have a child by 24 with a lot of close friends, but it was not to be. Instead, here I am at 24 (turned Nov ...... 4 reply
