What crazy myth did an adult convince you of as a kid
Y’all remember silly bands? Well my school hated them and my teacher had told the entire class that if we wore them overnight they’d melt into our skin and we wouldn’t be able to take them off without surgery. She did this apparently because she didn’t want us to wear them anymore.
That if you go to bed hungry, your spirit would search for food in the kitchen and it would be trapped inside the casserole, then you'll never wake up.
As a kid I was scared as heck and made sure to not skip dinner even when I didn't like the food
