I think it’s fetishizing if you only read bl for the smut. Personally I read most of these for the plot and I don’t only read Yaoi. just because your reading a story that happens to have gay smut scenes in it doesn’t mean it’s because people have fetishes it’s literally adult stories of course there’s sex in it.
