Is no one bothered by rape in yaoi?
I love yaoi, okay? Don't get me wrong. But are you seriously okay with the uke falling in love with the rapist/predator/paedo seme? Whatever the reason maybe for the seme to do it but this really really bothers me becoz most of the time it's becoz the seme is afraid to confess or some bullshit. Is it really love if you rape them? OR even consider it a form of true love. Why no one says anything about it? Is everyone aware of this risk in japan? I mean in my country this would be banned lol.
Fiction is separate from reality, an 11 year old should be able to tell the difference between a plot device in a story and psychotic irl abuse, and if they can't tell the difference they shouldn't be reading 18+ content (tbf they shouldn't be reading this stuff at their age in the first place but that's really their parent's decision in the end). 1 reply
