In this case, the LGBT community anwsers LGBT phobic behavoir by turning it around. Key word, TURNING IT AROUND. No one has ever been killed becuse they were straight, because they held hands or kissed a person of the opposite sex. No one will refuse you a job, housing or healthcare because you're straight.That's a privilege a lot of people don't have and cn be killed for simply EXISTING. HETEROPHOBIA IS A RESPONSE TO HOMOPHOBIA, NOT SYSTEMATIC OPPRESSION OF STARIGHT PEOPLE. Goddamnit.
