When should I come my to my parents?

they were supportive but some family and friends are different so if your family is not homophobic i think you should come out!!!   reply

I came out to my mom in July of last year over text. (I don't remember when I came out to my friends but it was before this!) She was a teacher and had shown signs of being fine with lgbt+, so I knew it would be safe. Though.. I do regret coming out over text. I should have done it in person because it was something that was important and personal.......   reply
