i also prefer sekaiichi because i feel that the characters and plot are much more concrete and it feels like junjou romantica is only an experiment to see if a scene would be a hit for the readers or not also it actually took me awhile to finish Junjou because i couldn't move past the Egoist series i'm still holding a grudge against Nowaki for a......   reply

JR. It was my first yaoi and I think story and characters are better. SIH was my second or third yaoi and it annoyed me soooo much. The misunderstandings, denial, and just the reason they broke up, and what happened afterwards... I just didn't like it. Overly dramatic. (I find JR less dramatic and more cute xD). Hmm I gotta say Sekaiichi Hatsukoi because the characters r interesting but don't get me wrong I love Junior Romantica and I love the way Misaki evolves from coming to term with his feelings, but I, most likely, like Sekaiichi Hatsukoi more because I've read more yaoi mangas with characters similar to the ones in Sekaiichi Hatsukoi.   reply

It depends on the mood I'm in. It's junjou if I need a laugh or slight slice of life feel full of heart. I read sekaiichi if I want a more mature and professional take on whatever is happening.   reply

How do you compare Apples to Oranges..you do not.. JR may seem lacking but that is only because it has more of the cute factor.. Mizaki is younger, less mature and still in school. However comparing how each is written JR is superior for its wit and charm. SH is centered around adults therefore the feeling of the series is the same and it excel......   reply
