this is a serious question
hi, so im kinda new to mangago and i just joined a few months ago. im a straight girl and ive become a really big fan of yaoi so i guess im what you would call a fujoshi?(not sure). anyway, so ive seen a lot of things on here about bad fujoshis who's thoughts on yaoi are usually bad or fetishizing. i don't really know what im like or if im reading yaoi for the right reasons or if im actually being a "good fujoshi". im really uneducated on the LGBTQ+ community and i just really want to understand what a bad fujoshi and what a good fujoshi so i know for myself to either improve or be better i guess? im not sure if this is a stupid thing to ask but im really serious about it so educate me please.
Just don't use the word fujoshi
Also don't mix reality and fiction together
Never do that ever
don't read to much cause that would be a very unhealthy obsession
Just be unproblematic
don't read bl just for the smut
never ever in all the years you will live EVER masturbate to bl
Its just disgusting
And don't ship actual people
And your set for...... reply

But idk those are just my thoughts 1 reply

Everything's okay as long as you know the difference between reality and fiction as well as not being an idiot who complains about every single thing you see that you don't like...
Being here is very easy...
Just don't be like those idiots in social media sites who shares this site and tells shit about stories you don't like...
Never ever share the...... reply
I'd rather not have be called a fujoshi personally since there's usually a bad rep about them. Personally, I was a fujoshi too few years back thinking it was just a label for a person reading BL and shit but it did more harm for me than belonging to a sense of community. Another thing I'd like to point out is (like what others said) to seperate fic...... reply
