I need help

ok I know this isn't the best place to ask for help about this but I'm panicking and my heart is racing and I'm very confused

A little backstory: so my mom and her boyfriend (who we'll just call asshole bc I hate him) have been fighting a lot because of a few personal things, one of them being Asshole finding little plastic baggies with what might be drugs inside. I know my mom better than anyone and I know she would absolutely NOT do drugs or sell them unless she was forced to, although I am worried for her as shes only 30. She was a teen mom raising me and has been through a lot with having to raise me as a single mom to having a psycho ex and now Asshole who is causing her more stress by constantly pressuring her to tell him every little thing she does. I got a little carried away there so back to the point.

I'm always up at night so here I was on my couch as my mom is getting ready for work VERY early to be able to make it to my brothers birthday party today. She leaves, I continue to read my webtoon. A couple minutes later Asshole tells me that my mom's calling me (my phone was dead) so I go get my ipad and headphones (bc my ipads mic is broken) and a few seconds later I get a call from her and she asks me where I am, and if she's on speaker. (Asshole's in his bedroom next to the living room) I tell her I'm on the couch and she's not on speaker. She asks me if theres a small clear baggy on the kitchen counter, I immediately know what's going on, and before she tells me what to do I hear Asshole getting up, Asshole seems to have had an idea of what she was calling for too. so I quickly toss the baggie in the trash and silently speed-walk back into the living room just before Asshole gets there, he goes into the bathroom and finish up vaguely answering my mom of the subject. We hang up, she calls again. Asks me if it's dee in the trash and that if Asshole asks about the call to- I cut her off and say yup because I heard Asshole finishing up. I panic thinking theres not enough time for me to tuck it in the trash so I take it with my and speed-walk to my room because I can't think of anything to say if he asks. I'm now in my room and I have to use the bathroom but I know he's waiting on the couch to ask me what it was about and I don't have anything to say yet. I don't know what to do, my heart is racing, I'm panicking, and I have the baggie in my pocket. I just don't know what to do.

This isn't my moms fault at ALL. She's a good person so please don't misunderstand her.
