being ignored
i’ve been really close friends with this person online for over 2 years. we shared everything together, and talked daily. and although for the past few months we’ve been talking less, we addressed it and worked through it together.
a few weeks ago, she randomly sent me a random “i love you” which i saw and immediately replied to. i questioned her, and she said she was curious how long it would take me to reply to a message like that. i apologized for not replying fast enough, and made an effort in starting conversations with her since then.
it’s been nearly two weeks and she still hasn’t replied to any of my messages. i know she’s ignoring me, because she’s clearly posting on her instagram stories. i asked her twice is everything was okay to no avail. i don’t know what to think of it, because she always regarded me as her “soulmate” and very close friend.
... should i give up and move on? is it my fault for being a bad friend?
First of all, it's not your fault in any way. You're not being a bad friend just because you saw or replied to a message too late. I think that maybe she just regrets confessing or something like that? If that's the case, you should talk it through with her and make her feel confident in your relationship. If things still don't work out, you should...... reply
