personally, i think it fucking sucks and ive literally never come across one that didnt include fucking rape, assault, discussion of past rape, or manipulation w pheremones n shit. ive only read probably one where the omega actually made the alpha wait because the alpha fucking forced himself onto him. i wish there was more wholesome shit tbh
Generally, omegaverse is supposed to highlight the inequities in our own world. So basically, its the usual yaoi rape cliches, tied in with institutionalized sexism. Its not that far off from how women are treated in today's society, hiding behind fake biological reasoning as to why omegas ought to be treated badly.
