Dating someone more fit than you?
So I was asked out by a guy who is really fit. Like, he has abs. Now, I'm not overweight, and I've learned to love and accept my body the way it is, so I'm comfortable with myself for the most part, but I'm nervous about what he will think of me since I don't work out. I mean, I eat well, and am healthy other than the fact that I'm not very active. I just. I don't know. This is the second time I've ever been asked out and the first time ended up in disaster. I just wondered if anyone could give me some advice.
The obvious is that he already factored in your lifestyle and still made the decision to ask you out, so unless he's planning to turn you into a fitness project, just enjoy his abs.
The only problem (if any of the parts in a relationship decide to make it a problem) is time managing and priority allocations. Some people take body building way too ...... 1 reply
Oh dear, there's nothing to worry about. If he asked you out then why not try to date him, you won't find the answer from us I tell you but always remember, Love is in all shapes, color, sizes and sexuality.

You don't have to do work outs to date someone fit. If you don't want to, he won't force you or leave you only for that, especially if you're not overweight and you're healthy. However, you might want to keep your mind open to sports and tiny work outs. Sports dates are really fun. ;) Doesn't mean it has to be every week, though.

Honestly bud if they actually like you they wouldnt mind if your not as fit or have the same lifestyle. That's part of your lifestyle :) I'm so happy for your body positivity.
